Upper photos were taken at a pro-government rally in Ljubljana's centre. Our government's remaining supporters, among them mainly members and sympathisers of the leading party, gathered in order to express their support for Slovene government and its leader (perhaps, the order of preferences should be reversed, according to some posters seen at the place).
The right to protest and to express disagreement in a public, yet civilised way is among the fundamentals of democratic society. However, protests are usually a display of public disagreement with the government's methods and not the other way around. What we've seen on Friday thus represents an important milestone (a bit too grandiose word, but I cannot think of any more suitable at the moment) in our history - never before has any of Slovene governments protested against their people, calling us names which I would rather avoid repeating.
