N'Toko na Kulturnem multipraktiku 2012

As promised, here comes a slightly longer post about N'Toko's interview at this year's Kulturni multipraktik. For those who haven't gone to the best secondary school in Slovenia (just had to put it in... :)), Kulturni multipraktik is an annual event where notable Slovene artists and intellectuals are interviewed by the students of our school. As far as I am concerned, this year's incarnation of the event could well be renamed to "guys with guts" or something alike. Why so? N'Toko, Roman Uranjek and Jonas Žnidaršič, who were among this year's guests, are all known for their rebellious attitude towards the world. In case of N'Toko, his songs lyrics are the best expression of it. Parada ljubezni or Love Parade, his last album, is in my opinion a true masterpiece in which many daunting issues, including homophobia and xenophobia (which are very present in our assumedly "tolerant" culture) are addressed.
The post starts where the meeting with N'Toko has almost already ended - in front of our school. After the interview had finished, some of us chattered with Miha for a while (that's his true name) and afterwards I asked him for a brief snapshot, or portrait, name it whatever you like. Anyway, he agreed and I also had my portion of luck - four girls in the background came unexpectedly (yes, I should have said how everything was planned in advance, but, hey, it wasn't) and have added some dynamics to the shot.
Below are some photos taken during the interview. As always, Nikon D200 and, well, a whole bunch of lenses ;). No flash used, just ISO and aperture to the max.
